Strategies for Developing East Azerbaijan Exports to Armenia Weighed up
On a video conferencing, the ambassador of Iran to Armenia and the general governor of East Azerbaijan province assessed the avenues of developing the East Azerbaijan exports to Armenia.
Emphasizing the prominent role of East Azerbaijan province in developing relations with neighboring countries in the northwest, the general governor of East Azerbaijan province said: "These countries are Iran's gateway to the Eurasian market and due to the ability of the province's production units, we have the possibility of exporting to regional markets through these countries."
Mr. Khorram stressed the efforts of the Tabriz Chamber of Commerce to attract foreign investors and cooperate in joint projects with the private sector of neighboring countries and said that the role of the private sector in the development of economic relations with neighboring countries is of high importance.
The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Yerevan, pointed to the investment capacities of East Azerbaijan to develop relations with neighboring countries and said: "We are trying to present the capacities and capabilities of this province."
Abbas Badakhshan Zohuri described the economic, tourism and cultural capacities of Tabriz and East Azerbaijan as very high and added that this province can play a major role in developing Iran's relations with neighboring countries.
In this meeting, Gholamhossein Karimi, a member of the board of directors of Aras Free Zone Organization, referring to the role of Aras Free Zone to participate in the Eurasian market, said: Meanwhile, the importance of Aras Free Trade-Industrial Zone is obvious due to the location of Norduz border within the limits of AFZ.
