Tapping into the Aras’ Capabilities to Achieve the Objectives of Cooperation with Eurasia
The CEO of Aras reiterated the competencies of the zone would pave the way for Aras to succeed in dealing with Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
Mohsen Nariman at the expert panel of “free zones and expansion of economic cooperation with neighboring countries with main focus on Export-transit and Euarasia” said: Aras’ capacities and profuse advantages in different fields can prepare the ground for the country to succeed in accessing the provisions of the agreement signed between Iran and Eurasia.
He pointed out to the measures taken by Aras free zone org. to implement the agreement and said: Aras and its center Jolfa have been Iran’s transit hub for centuries and we are seeking to revive this privilege.
Reminding of the fact that the sole land border between Iran and Eurasian Union is the Nurduz border situated in Aras Free Zone, the Head of the board and CEO of Aras said: Nurduz with its distinguished position and within the framework of transportation diplomacy, is going to turn into land transit and logistical hub for Iran-Eurasia.

Nariman continued to quote that the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamanei had insisted that Iranian economic power is a necessity adding that Iran’s membership in EAEU and other regional unions is one of the mechanisms to have a strong economy.
