“Aras is Capable of Turning into “the Silicon Valley” in the Country,” said the director of the incubation center of Tabriz University.
According to the Public Relations and Intl. Affairs of Aras Free Zone Org., director of the incubation center of Tabriz University said in a joint meeting of research deputies and managers of the East Azerbaijan universities with the deputies and the CEO of Aras Research and Technology Fund that considering the operations and decent support Aras Free Zone provides for the startup, technology and knowledge based companies the zone is capable of becoming “the Silicon Valley” in the country and in order for the Fund to establish more relation with the firms and graduates and students, it is necessary to set up representative offices in universities.
Also in the meeting, the Head of Tabriz Azad University pointed out to approval of some projects submitted to the department of the knowledge-based affairs of the university, demanding the presence of Aras in the research meetings of the province’s Azad Universities.
The meeting was participated by Safar Shasfand, the Board Member and Deputy Dir. for the Economic and Investment Affair, Yousef Dadashzadeh, Deputy Dir. for the Cultural, Social and Tourism Affairs.
