Deputy Director for Export Markets Promotion of Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization announced that the foreign ministry and the ministry of industry, mine, and trade have planned a visit for a high-level delegate from Armenia (including public & private sectors) headed by the Economy Ministry of this country to Tehran in the early next month. The visit is aimed at pushing trade and economic goals.
Iranian ambassador to Yerevan stressed the importance of Armenia and its market for Iran and said political conditions to enter this market is promising.
“Armenia’s membership in the EAEU and having preferential tariffs with some European states are the distinctive features of Armenia among the neighboring countries”, he added.
Mr. Zohouri also thanked Aras Free Zone Org. for putting the Nurduz border in order and mentioned: the Nurduz border of the AFZ is the only land border with Armenia and the officials should focus their attention on this country as a gate to enter the Eurasian markets.
