Head of Tabriz Chamber of Commerce announced that Armenia’s imports from Russia and China in 2019 stood at $1477 m and $742 m respectively.
According to Public Relations & Intl. Affairs of AFZ Org., Younes Zhaele, in the extraordinary meeting of Dialogue Council of Government-Private Sector of the province attended by the Iranian ambassador to Armenia, stated that the only way for Iran to enter Armenia and the Eurasian Union is through East Azerbaijan Province, which is one of the important transit routes of the Persian Gulf corridor to the Black Sea and Russia.
“Armenia has played a significant and influential role in accepting Iran as a Eurasian observer member and developing economic relations with its members”, he added.
The head of the chamber of commerce concluded that the Armenian government should ensure the security and repatriation of investment of the Iranian businessmen and all the necessary instructions should be provided in this regard.
