The CEO of Aras Free Zone Organization announced the readiness of this organization to implement the indicators approved by the World Health Organization for the membership of Jolfa city in the healthy city.

On the second day of the stay of evaluators from the representatives of the World Health Organization, Ministry of Health and Medical Education and East Azerbaijan University of Medical Sciences in Aras, Mohsen Nariman in the sum up meeting of these evaluations, described the observance and permanent implementation of items to achieve a healthy city in Jolfa as highly significant. He stated that this organization is ready to take the necessary measures to create a healthy and sustainable city.

He said that this plan is based on inter-sectoral collaboration, community participation in decision-making and city administration, adding: "I hope by choosing Jolfa as a healthy city, it will pave the way for improving the living, health, economic and social conditions of the people."
