Alireza Amri Kazemi, Aras Geopark Consultant and International Evaluator of UNESCO Global Geoparks Network and Vice Chairman of the UNESCO National Commission for Earth Sciences and Geoparks, said: "I am very happy that after years of continuous efforts, we have reached the final stages of Aras Geopark global registration."

We are now approaching the final stages of the global registration of Aras Geopark with the presence of the evaluators of the UNESCO Global Geoparks Network in the Aras Free Zone to visit and check the geosites”, Said the Aras Geopark Consultant.
